What Is Chronic Pain and What Are Its Consequences?

Caused by muscle pain or back sprains, chronic pain develops when your nerves are damaged, causing the pain to become very intense. These chronic pains may last longer and can be caused due to chronic fatigue syndrome. This is identified by severe fatigue that lasts for at least six months.

Some days may feel better than others, as the pain level decreases, life seems so much better, and on other days, life is no less than a war zone. Your only lifeline may seem like the painkillers. Waiting for it to kick in and start relieving the pain may feel like the only thing you want in life.

Some days, all you might want is some emotional support. You could have taken all medicines and done everything possible, but the pain may seem like it will never stop.
